Synopsis:
L’histoire nous entraîne dans le quotidien de Neku Sakuraba, un adolescent très talentueux dans l’art des graffitis. Un jour, il reçoit un étrange message sur son téléphone : s’il ne parvient pas à venir à bout d’une série d’épreuves insensées, il disparaîtra dans sept jours.
Peu de temps après ce message, il est rejoint par une mystérieuse jeune fille du nom de Shiki dans son voyage à travers l’inconnu pour découvrir la vérité sur ce qui lui arrive et détruire l’organisation obscure des Reapers.
